Aurora Borealis - February 26-28

Attention All Northern Latitude Residents!

Photos of the aurora last night, February 26, 2023 - in Fairbanks, Alaska

We are amid a geomagnetic storm caused by the first of two Earth-directed CMEs. Last night, the aurora was visible as far south as Oregon and Pennsylvania! It will likely continue the next two nights, so if you live in the northern US, Canada, or northern Europe, check the night skies tonight and tomorrow night!
